SPEAKER BIO - Brett Dietrich

Brett started with CMHC in 2001 as an Insurance Business Analyst with responsibilities for mortgage loan insurance (MLI) product development. Over the years he added to his MLI knowledge with various assignments and more recently, Brett and his team re-set the entire Multi-unit product offering, including the MLI Flex product targeting affordable housing outcomes.

In 2016, Brett became Director of Multi-unit Policy and Operations and later Director of Multi-unit Strategy, Risk Management and Products. Brett is currently Vice-President of Partnerships and Promotions in CMHC’s Client Solutions sector, where his responsibilities include partnerships, government relations, outreach, and sector capacity in the affordable housing space. Brett lives in Ottawa with his wife and three children.
